We managed to finish up these photos just a few days before Dana delivered a little boy! She really did have that 'glow.' Laila,(I'm not sure I'm spelling that right), the little girl, was not happy being put down and wanted her mom to hold her the entire time. We used a little creative photography to get her to touch her mom's tummy...we just shot from behind Laila so you couldn't see she was screaming :-)
Aaron was a trooper and showed her a cute sand turtle that someone had made. That made her happy for a moment. I told him not to feel bad because his little girl preferred her mother - my kids didn't want much to do with my husband until they were old enough to ask for money and the car! :-) But now, they prefer their dad to me, I think! What's that saying, 'Little boys grow up and marry them a wife, but little girls are their daddy's little girls for life.'

Well, it's been a year and a half since moving from Boston to Jax Beach! My photography business has taken off since moving here and I'm enjoying so many things about doing photography in Jacksonville Beach. I've done simple beach ceremonies to beautiful wedding venues! I've traveled to St. Simon's Island, GA and Charleston, SC! I've been able to photograph Smokey Robison for the Florida Theatre and photograph the Jacksonville Airshow over our beach! I hope you enjoy just a few of the many images I've captured.
