Well, it's been a year and a half since moving from Boston to Jax Beach! My photography business has taken off since moving here and I'm enjoying so many things about doing photography in Jacksonville Beach. I've done simple beach ceremonies to beautiful wedding venues! I've traveled to St. Simon's Island, GA and Charleston, SC! I've been able to photograph Smokey Robison for the Florida Theatre and photograph the Jacksonville Airshow over our beach! I hope you enjoy just a few of the many images I've captured.
My nephew is engaged! I was lucky enough to be in Utah when they wanted engagement photos done. We had a little fun with the castle tower where we were shooting...hmmm, better be careful you two!
I have three beautiful grandchildren in Utah and it had been a while since we updated their photos. I was able to get two of them done. Child number three, age 2, had taken scissors to her hair recently so we decided to capture her picture when I return in September. Here are my two oldest grandchildren!
Lyndall, a recent high school graduate, was visiting from out-of-state and since Eileen(her grandma) is one of my new Jacksonville Beach friends, we decided a little photoshoot was in order for her and her granddaughter. A few wardrobe changes along the way and a break in the rain provided for some nice shots.
Despite 100 degree weather a few hours earlier, the beach provided enough relief to get some great shots! It helped that Sean and Lindsey were so easy to work with!
Susan and Bill were lucky enough to experience a double rainbow on their wedding day. The Villa de Suenos was the stunning location for a beautiful outdoor wedding complete with a creative twist for the ring bearers. The rings were placed in seashells and each nephew carried a ring down the isle! The cake was a beautiful beach theme and the bride and groom climbed in the shallow waterfall/pool at the end of the night!
After weeks of rain, we were afraid we'd have rain the day of the wedding. We finally got a beautiful day at the Ribault Club! Shannon's hair was beautiful, her gown, stunning. Her groom was relaxed and handsome!
The youngest flower girl had to be coaxed with a jelly bean that her older sister held out in front of her until she got half way down the aisle!
